Inchtavannach Apartment - Macaulay Letting

Beds spoiled our overnight stay. Flat otherwise very nice. Positive: Parking at front door. Kitchen and living room lovely. Bathroom and en-suite clean and modern. Negative: No mirrors in en-suite or bathroom. Beds were disappointing. The double bed mattress was firm and the bed was creaking. The supports below the bed were not straight and the slats did not look robust. The twin beds had thin soft mattresses. We did not feel that we slept well.

Overpriced apartment for a 4pm to 10am stay Positive: Modern apartment. Spacious rooms. En-suite bathroom Negative: Broken double bed and very soft single mattresses so could feel the springs. Kitchen consisted of empty cupboards except for basic crockery and cutlery. No coffee cafetière, no bin liner in the bin, no microwave, no instructions for cooker or dishwasher. Nothing to wash up with and no towel in kitchen. No WiFi code left in apartment, TV kept cutting out. Toilet seat in en-suite was loose. No welcome pack and no information about local restaurants, shops or what to do in the area.

A modern comfortable apartment Positive: The apartment was clean and comfortable, nicely finished and modern. The off road parking was good . Having a bathroom and a en suite was very good. Negative: There is no mirrors in the bathroom or the en suite making it difficult to have a shave. The towels were clean but very poor not actually soaking any water off. Maybe for the cost of a £1, some bleach left in the bathroom would be a nice touch.

It was only over night and it worked well for that . Positive: It’s new so everything was clean and worked. Negative: Perhaps the doors that were on automatic closure , it’s minor issue. Perhaps some hooks in bathroom and a bathrooom mirror. A microwave would be handy , but not essential
